In 2015, our founder Zhang Wei returned from Milan Fashion Week with a vision: to create luxury handbags that blend Italian craftsmanship with accessible pricing. Frustrated by the industry's markup on premium leather goods, Zhang transformed her family's leather workshop in Changsha into a design studio.

"I watched artisans create masterpieces that only the wealthy could afford," Zhang recalls. "True luxury should be defined by quality and attention to detail, not by exclusivity." This conviction became the cornerstone of XhomeClean.

Our first collection launched with just three designs - all developed through 200+ prototypes and rigorous testing. Within six months, these signature pieces appeared on TikTok fashion influencers, validating Zhang's belief that exceptional design finds its audience.

Every XhomeClean bag undergoes 87 precise steps from concept to completion. Our leathers are sustainably sourced from Italian tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group. Each hide is hand-inspected for natural markings that add character.

In our Changsha atelier, master artisans with 15+ years experience employ techniques passed down through generations: hand-stitching edges at 6 stitches per inch, burnishing raw edges with beeswax, and tempering hardware to develop a natural patina over time.

This dedication to craft earned us the 2024 Red Dot Design Award for the "perfect marriage of form and function" in our convertible tote-backpack.
